Many congratulations on gaining a place at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, we very much look forward to welcoming you to the College.

In order to start preparing for your arrival in Cardiff, first in our minds to help you with is Accommodation. I realise that finding accommodation can seem like a daunting task, particularly if this is the first time you will be living away from home, but this section is provided to help you – please make sure you read it carefully.

Whether you decide that you would like to have a room in our Halls of Residence, or rent in the Private Sector, the Accommodation Application Form is designed to help you find accommodation and fellow students to share it with. Individual landlords are unlikely to rent individual rooms in houses to individual students, preferring to lease the whole house to a group, and so our Accommodation Application Form will help you whatever option you are choosing.  We have successfully grouped students together for several years now and it is to help you make contact with fellow students, before you even start college. This means housemates are in contact  before you start living together! Please complete form ASAP if you would like to be included in the scheme.  We will then look at the answers you give on the form and group you with fellow new students.

Remember, we are here to help you – please do not hesitate to contact us
